I made a few mistakes that turned this painting into a struggle. When I first viewed the original subject, I snapped photos quickly to capture the lighting. It was changing as I was drawing it so I had to act quickly. Then I completed the drawing (which had proper perspective).

In the studio, I failed to replicate the perspective properly in the painting. I also realized part-way through I didn't document the entire subject and had to "extrapolate" some of the painting. Overall I'm semi-pleased with this one.
