Well, I'm ending my art hiatus. I think this one did it with a bang. I did a quick sketch on the street then snapped about 5 reference photos for the colours then headed back to the studio. Overall it was about a 3 hour painting. Basically a little study to build up my skill and discover where I need work.
I struggled a little bit with the lower regions of the painting. The subject was so busy there and it was difficult to suggest what's happening at the bottom without ruining the balance of the work.
